Anxiety symptoms cause a lot of discomfort and frustration which can cause a lot of harm mentally and physically. A little bit of anxiety is normal, but when it reaches its extreme limits then it causes a lot of damage to the person. There r various components, causes and symptoms of anxiety which have a definite cure in most of the cases. Anxiety has three main components, i.e. psycho-physiological, psychological and interpersonal. The psycho-physiological component is physical and results in racing of the heart, breathlessness, lightheadedness and sweating. Psychological component is related to the mind and results in bad temper, a reduced amount of concentration, terror and panic. Interpersonal component deals with a scenario where a person is mentally attached to a loved one for comfort, coz one finds peace in the presence or company of the trusted one. Everyone experiences anxieties in some form or the other in the daily life, coz anxiety disorders don't come out of the blue, they are first in a healthy form of anxiety and then they grow and prove to be harmful. Each individual is different from the other, so how one person reacts to a particular type of anxiety might not be necessarily same as to how the second person might react. Anxiety symptoms are many, they are few which a commonly experienced by the ones affected by anxiety. The common symptoms of anxiety are shortness of breath, hyperactivity, hallucinations, headaches, sweating, shivering, numbness, indigestion, heartburn, constipation, sexual dysfunction, insomnia, nightmares and fear of losing control, increased depression, aggression, suicidal feelings and phobias. These are the common symptoms seen in the people affected with anxiety which is caused by various anxiety disorders. There is a treatment for most of these symptoms which has proved to be useful in helping the person affected with anxiety. The treatment for anxiety includes medication of antidepressants, psychological treatment like cognitive-behavioral therapy, meditation, breathing and relaxation techniques, biofeedback to control muscle tension, exposure and response prevention techniques in which one is exposed to anything that triggers the problem and helps one to overcome the fear and panic. Hence these techniques are scientifically proved and tested over the people affected with anxiety and therefore yield results. So by the above facts we come to know that anxiety symptoms are caused by increased from of anxiety and there is a possible way to get rid of anxiety better and faster with out causing more damage to a person. Hence proper precautions should be taken so that a simple from of anxiety is not grown into a complex one. |
